Adobe Photoshop Fire Effect Tutorial
Going through the Tree Render first is a quick and easy step to accomplish with many options. We’re quickly showing you a simple way to create flames using Adobe Photoshop’s easy tools. Here are the steps in creating a Photoshop fire effect.
- Make a new layer
- Go to Filter, Render, than Tree.
- Select the type of tree then click OK
- Create another layer
- Hit “P” to select the pen tool
- Make sure you’re using Path and not Shape
- Outline the area of flame
- Filter, Render, than Flame.
- Play around with the custom options
Just have fun with it and get use to what all the functions for the render flame do. After you’ve made the flame click on the layer with the tree. The make your fill black, select the brush tool, and make sure you have a feathered brush stroke selected. Your tree layer should be under your flame layer. This allows the black paint brush tool to create a charred undertone for a more realistic flame.
